Modern medical methods and methods can only stop the progression of the virus, eliminate papillomas that have already appeared, and prevent the occurrence of worsening disease, which leads to the formation of new papillomas.

Destructive treatment aims to directly destroy the tissue affected by the virus. These methods can be roughly divided into two groups: chemical, physical.
Chemical methods for treating papillomas involve the removal of tissue infected with the virus using chemicals. Today, several groups of drugs have been developed to get rid of papillomas in different areas.
There are several physical methods to get rid of papillomas. The most widespread methods are electrocoagulation, cryodestruction, radiosurgery, laser therapy.
Electrocoagulation involves the removal of a papilloma using a high -frequency electric current. This method has been used for a long time and has proven to be very effective. But it also has its downsides. First of all, this is a painful sensation after surgery, which persists for a long time.
Cryodestruction, also a widely used method of treating papillomas, gives patients less inconvenience. This method is based on freezing of the affected tissue using liquid nitrogen. Healing of ulcers formed as a result of cryodestruction occurs within one to two weeks. At the same time, there are no traces on the skin.
This method is used exclusively for the removal of skin papillomas. If it is necessary to remove a papilloma on the cervix, this method is not used, as it is ineffective in this case.
The most optimal method for treating human papilloma in terms of efficacy, pain, and duration after surgery is papilloma removal with laser. This method is based on the use of surgical lasers.
The peculiarity of this method is that immediately after the removal of the affected tissue, the laser closes the blood vessels, which prevents the possibility of bleeding. This method does not cause complications or scarring. The duration of the recovery period is one month.
There is another modern method of removing papilloma - radiosurgery. This method is based on the use of special equipment that cuts the damaged tissue by exposing it to powerful high -frequency radio waves.
Despite the success in medicine of the modern methods described above, surgery to remove the papilloma is still popular. Perhaps this is the most painful method, which involves a long postoperative period. But in some cases, the application of this particular method is demonstrated. For example, surgery to remove a papilloma on the cervix is used in oncology.
Recovery period
Regardless of which method is used to remove the papilloma, a number of steps must be followed after surgery. Including, abundant drinking is indicated, adherence to a frugal regimen.
Also, comprehensive measures are needed to reduce the concentration of papilloma virus in the body. Usually, for this purpose, the use of drugs that strengthen the immune system is prescribed.
